Since we now have both 10Base-T Only and 10/100-Base-T hardware platforms - which have radically different firmware and boot loader files - we had to create a new utility to handle the firmware and boot loader update process. This new process has been rolled into the latest version of NetEdit3 (v3.4) and we highly encourage all of you to download and install this new version (even if you don't have a new 10/100 device). NetEdit3 (v3.4 and later) is the only way to update the firmware and boot loaders in the new 10/100 devices, and we won't be releasing a new version of Ether32.Exe as we did with the old 10-BaseT only devices. You may have also noticed that we've removed the individual firmware ZIP files from our web site for the EBCs, ECOMs, ERMs, EDRVs and PBCs. We've done this to encourage you to use the "LiveUpdate" feature of NetEdit3 to download the firmware files and then use it to handle the firmware updates. The firmware files on our web site are now encoded with a checksum that the LiveUpdate feature uses to make sure the firmware files are downloaded NetEdit v3 - Network Configuration and Update Utility For users of Windows XP Service Pack 2, you
